Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has declared August the ‘Month of the Season Ticket Holder’. Under the month-long celebration, beginning this Wednesday (August 1), the Royals will randomly select an STH ‘winner’ for each of the month’s thirty-one days. Each daily STH winner will receive a gift card as a prize from one the team’s corporate partners. You can follow the announcement of the daily STH winner by logging on every day to the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com, which will link fans to the daily video announcement. A Royals’ staff member will also contact the winning STH to ensure that the winner’s gift card is properly transmitted.

Also, the first day of the Month of the Season Ticket Holder celebration (August 1) will coincide with the launch of a brand new season ticket referral program which could pay significant dividends for Royals’ Full Season Ticket Holders, who refer an individual or company to the Royals who in turn purchases a Full Season Ticket. The referring FSTH will then receive one of the following prize packages depending on the total number of “game tickets” actually purchased in the newly referred “Full Season Ticket(s)”:

(i)                 Bronze Package

One (1) Full Season Ticket* sold: the referring FSTH receives a Royals’ hat or a fleece blanket. [*NOTE: One (1) FST must equal 36 total game tickets, e.g one (1) thirty-six game plan; or two (2) eighteen game plans; or four (4) nine game plans, etc….]

(ii)               Silver Package

Two (2) Full Season Tickets sold: the referring FSTH receives a Royals’ hoodie or golf shirt. [NOTE: Two (2) FSTs must equal 72 total game tickets.]

(iii)             Gold Package

Three (3) Full Season Tickets sold: the referring FSTH receives a Royals’ jacket. [NOTE: Three (3) FSTs must equal 108 total game tickets.]

(iv)             Platinum Package

Four (4) Full Season Tickets sold: the referring FSTH receives one of the items in each of the other three packages plus Fifty (50) ‘Royals Bucks’. [NOTE: Four (4) FSTs must equal 144 game tickets.]

All merchandise items included in the prize packages as part of the new season ticket referral program will display the Royals’ Season Ticket Holder logo. Referring FSTHs will be able to select his or her size for these items—except for the hat and fleece blanket, which come in one size only. Please note that all merchandise items will be delivered to the referring FSTH when the referred FSTs are paid in full.
