Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced the team’s Kelly Cup Playoff Banner Contest. Beginning immediately and continuing through Monday, May 4, fans are encouraged to design and hang a banner which includes a reference to the “pesky” Royals, the Kelly Cup Playoffs, and/or the terms “We Believe” and/or “Every Moment Matters”. The contest winner will receive the use of a Sovereign Center Suite for the game of his or her choice during the American Conference Finals playoff series. The contest will not only be judged on the creativity of the banner design but also on the choice of location in which it is placed. Please note that all participants are encouraged to get all appropriate permissions to hang and leave their banner in its particular location. Participants should submit digital images of their banner on location directly to ctousant@royalshockey.com. To be eligible for the contest prize, images must be received by 12:00 noon on Monday, May 4.

The Royals will face either the Charlotte Checkers or Cincinnati Cyclones in the American Conference Finals. All games will be broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast with the pre-game show beginning thirty-minutes prior to the opening face-off.
