The Reading Royals are proud sponsors in the Newspaper in Education (NIE) program. This program provides free newspapers to classrooms. For every one newspaper we donate, Reading Eagle Company donates three newspapers. Currently, this program puts nearly 19,000 newspapers a week into the classrooms. Nearly every school in Berks County participates in the program.
